Degumnieki air field is an abandoned airfield 163 kilometers east of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe. It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It consisted of a small runway, and a medium sized platform to the southeast of the runway.

No photos of the airfield while in use before 2010 have been located

Latvian Airfields updated the airfields status to 'Good', reporting upgrades to the airfield in August 2012. The runway taxiways and apron were a little dirty but all the bushes had been cut. Appearantly the local community is making an effort to attract traffic to the airfield, because a windsock had also been erected. As Latvian Airfields reported: "(...) any GA traffic is welcome".
MyAirfields wrote in 2017: "Runway surface is in good condition. A windsock is located on the field. Recently the airfield is being kept in a good shape by the local municipality, and any GA traffic is welcome. Every year an aviation festival takes place in this aerodrome. Airfield is cleaned and prepared for annual aviation festival taking place 8-9JUL2017."

The airfield is uncertified however and therefore officially closed to all traffic.
