Mežāre air field was an airfield 140 kilometers east-southeast of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe and used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It consisted of a small runway, and a medium sized and a small platform to the northwest of the runway.

No photos of the airfield while in use have been located

In 2011, Latvian Aviation listed the airfield as 'usable' but without a description, considering the airfield as 'generally not suitable for flight operations' other than emergencies.
MyAirfields considers the airfield 'average', describing it as "in a quite good state surrounded by flat fields. Runway surface seems in normal condition, however there are bushes on both sides of the runway. Beware of electricity line when approaching from south."
The airfield is uncertified, meaning it is officially closed to all taffic.

A good aerial photo of Mežāre was publilsh in 2013 by MyAirfields.
