Aknīste air field was an airfield east of the town of Aknīste, 130 kilometers east-southeast of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe.
It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot.

No photos of the airfield while in use have been located

In February 2012 Latvian Aviation changed the airfields condition to 'completely unavailable for flight operations due to non-aviation activities on the field - buildings on the runway and apron'.

No aerial photo of Aknīste was found.
