Postavy airfield (Belarusian: Паставы, Lithuanian: Pastovys, Russian: Поставы, Polish: Postawy) is a former Soviet air base in Belarus located 5 km west of Pastavy.
It is a medium-sized air base.
There are three loop areas with 15 revetments each, and central tarmac area.
It was home to 305th Bomber Aviation Regiment (305 BAP), of the 1st Guards Bomber Aviation Division.
The regiment was activated at Postavy in 1976, flying the MiG-15/17 (1976-1977) and Su-7B/BM/BK (1976-1980)
When the unit converted to the Sukhoi Su-24 'Fencer' in 1986, it was renamed 305th Bomber Aviation Regiment.
After the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Regiment was withdrawn to Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai in the south of Russia, to be disbanded by 1993 and the airbase closed.
In 2003 dismantling of the air base had begun. Large concrete slabs that had formed the runway, platforms and taxitracks were removed. Google Earth imagery from 2006 of the west side of the base revealed that while the tracks had been gremoved completely, the dispersal areas were not affected. The base sportfield is now a small football (soccer) stadium, while the hangars are being used by local businesses.
