Torrente Communelli air field (also known as Gela-Northwest or Feldflugplatz Gela-Nordwest III) was an airfield in the south of Sicily, Italy.
It was built by U.S. forces in 1943. When the Germans discovered the airfield, they named it Gela-Nordwest III, although it was actually the fourth Alied airfied in the Gela area. The Germans were (amazingly) never aware of Gela-West. The airfield was used by the 47 Bomber Wing (A-20s) and detachments of the RAF's 296 Sqn. in August 1943

When the 86th moved out the airfield was closed and dismantled.
Today the whole area of the former airfield consists of agricultural fields.
