Zasa air field was an airfield 120 kilometers southeast of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe. It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It consists of a small runway, two taxiways to a medium sized and a small platform to the south of the runway.

No photos of the airfield while in use have been located.

Latvian Aviation listed the airfield as "in a seemingly good shape, however some nasty obstacles are present"and the photos on this site tell why. Grass and weeds are growing out of cracks in the runway. The same is true for the platform, which also has small trees growing. The airfield is uncertified, meaning it is officially closed to all taffic.

In August 2011, Zasa airfield looked like it only needed a minor cleanup (MyAirfields.com)

This 2013 photo showed that at least the runway could do with some cleanup, as grass and weeds were growing out of cracks in the asphalt (jekabspilsflight.lv)

The western taxitrack fared only marginally better than the runway (2013, jakobpilsflight.lv).

Small birches were growing in the cracks of the platform (2013, jakobpilsflight.lv)
